Memento Mori

International dance road movie, 2014

Memento Mori is a "dance road movie" about the historical reminiscences in Visegrad countries (meaning the Central Eastern region of Europe). These countries had similar history and similar places that are always reminding us of the social/communist regime times. But we do not remember the women from this period. Women are maybe the forgotten witnesses of history and their faith is not yet revealed. The aim of the movie is to raise the attention to these memorial places and to the forgotten faith of the women presenting it through contemporary dance.

International festivals where Memento Mori was screened:

Nulty Body Festival, Prague, 2014
NU Dance Festival, Bratislava, 2014
Athens Dance Video Project, Athen, 2014
Utah Dance Film Festival, Utah, 2015
Mediawave, Hungary, 2015
XI MARFICI, Mar Del Plata Dance Film Festival, 2015

The production was supported by Visegrad Fund.
